The Health Centre is open Monday
to Friday from 0830 to 1830. Surgery times vary from doctor to
doctor. Most of our doctors work part-time and all have a day
off each week.
Routine surgeries are by
appointment for both doctors and nurses. If you cannot
attend please let us know so that your time may be used for
another patient. Appointments are booked at 10 minutes
intervals. If you feel you need longer please ask the
receptionist to book you in for a double appointment.
We try to see all patients who wish to be seen the same day, if
necessary as additions to our planned surgeries. Please
co-operate with us in only using this facility for urgent
problems.
All the doctors try to be available each day for telephone
advice. This is usually possible late in the morning. If your
doctor is unavailable you can either give your number for us to
return your call later, or for urgent matters, ask to speak to
our duty doctor.
Booking your appointments online
We have recently launched a new
service where you may view and book your appointments online. Please
be aware, this is only available for doctors appointments.
If you have registered for this service, please click on the
link below. If you would like to register for this
service, please ask at reception for your pass codes. You
will need to bring proof of identity (i.e. bank card, passport
etc). Please note, this cannot be done over the
telephone due to security reasons.
Please note, we are bound by
strict patient confidentiality guidelines therefore, please only
ask for logon details for yourself. We are also unable to
offer this service to patients under 16 or their
parents/guardians.
Online
appointment bookings

If you are too ill to come to the
surgery a doctor will visit you at home. It helps us if we
receive requests for this before 11am.

The partners cover their on call as
part of a city wide co-operative (OXEMS) working with doctors
from other practices.
If you telephone (01865) 515552,
your call will be automatically redirected to a receptionist who
will take your details
an OXEMS doctor will then call
you back
